International Thermal Systems (ITS) has developed RollSeal Door technology for use in its ovens. The solution is designed to transform industrial manufacturing processes by improving efficiency, sustainability and overall performance.

The ITS RollSeal Door retrofit brings a compact, energy-efficient and safe design to batch and conveyor-style thermal processing units of all shapes and sizes. The safety and efficiency of the design was tested on a variety of equipment types in multiple industries around the world. Designed to seamlessly integrate with existing industrial ovens, the solution minimizes the need for complete oven replacements, therefore reducing both costs and downtime for manufacturers.

The RollSeal Door improves chamber seals, which improves uniformity and energy consumption. It also minimizes the floor space usage associated with swinging doors. The solution is also designed with many safety features, including a man-trap pull cord, the ability to open the door from the inside and the ability to open the door despite obstructions in the aisle.

The RollSeal Door also features remote door openers added to fork trucks to improve productivity. ITS says there is less repair and maintenance required because of the improved design, minimizing wearable components. There is also the benefit of turn-key installation — with full removal and installation able to be completed in one business day.
