CCAI Announces New Salt Lake City Chapter

 

The Chemical Coaters Association International is launching a chapter in Salt Lake City, Utah.

A group of enthusiastic members in the finishing industry have planned a kick-off meeting at the Hyatt House in Salt Lake City, UT on April 23.  Ron Lum with Coral Chemical and president of the CCAI Southern California chapter recognized the need and assisted in the effort to initiate an organized chapter in the Salt Lake City area. 

"The new chapter board members have generated a lot of enthusiasm and local support already," he said. "I’m looking forward to seeing a great start to this new chapter and the value it will bring to the Utah finishing industry."

Joe Jeppson with Coral Chemical is taking the reign as the first chapter president along with Ken Nein of IFS Coatings as vice president and Jared Ainsworth of TCI Powder as treasurer.
