Grieve’s No. 899 is a 500°F (260°C) truck oven currently used for curing coatings on parts hanging from rods. Workspace dimensions are 48" × 36" × 96", and 24 kW are installed in Nichrome wire heating elements, while a 1,000-cfm, 1-hp recirculating blower provides vertical upward airflow to the workload.

The sectioned truck oven features 4" insulated walls, an aluminized steel exterior and a Type 304, 2B-finish stainless steel interior. Controls include a 10" circular chart recorder, manual-reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, digital indicating temperature controller and a recirculating blower airflow safety switch.
