Part-On-Part Deburring 101
You recommended part on part deburring for one of our parts, and I am looking for more opportunities to use this method. Here are some questions I have: Do I always have to use abrasive compound? What are the largest parts you can do this way? Can parts get bent? Will different parts require different machine settings? Can I exceed the weight load limit of the machine?

Replacing Media Update
In the July, 2005 issue, you answered my question: How long can I run my straight through vibrator without adding media, the purpose being to then empty the machine and start over with all new media.
Adding a Centrifugal Disc Machine
Our finishing department has three vibrators and a tumbling barrel. We are planning to add a centrifugal disc machine. Will the media and compound we have been using work okay in the centrifugal disc process?
Need a Different Mass Finishing Method
I have 4,000 parts/day of a flat stamping, much like a large flat washer. The problem is that the parts stick together and many of them only get finished on one side. What are your suggestions?
Deburring with Dry Products
We want to remove the burrs without damaging the glossy finish. We are extremely careful to avoid anything potentially harmful if a child puts it in his mouth. Do you have any suggestions for a media or process?
Like New...Only Better?
I have some concern about using this media. Will it debur as well as my angle cut triangles? Will it have shorter life since it is smaller? Can I mix these two media? Should I have any other concerns?
